Soohyoung Rain Lee, PhD, MSW
Assistant Professor at Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University. Dr. Lee completed his Ph.D. in Social Welfare, specialized in Aging at Yeshiva University in 2019. Dr. Lee has had many direct practice roles in hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.
Briefly, Dr. Lee's research examines older adults' well-being in community settings and nursing facilities. Based upon his dedication on research, in 2018, he received Aaron H. Beckerman Research Award from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work. This award recognizes emerging scholars in the area of social welfare. Andrea Maxi, LCSW, CASAC II, SIFI
Andrea is a PhD student at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work. She has many years of clinical experience in individual therapy and family counseling implementing an eclectic approach. Also, she was trained in Modern Psychodynamic Theory at the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City. I studied Family Therapy and Addiction Counseling with a concentration on Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at New York University. Prior research experiences, including at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute/Child Psychiatric Epidemiology Group in the "Stress and Justice Study." As a research intern, she conducted adult and child interviews in NYC, administered the Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test (KIBT), collected DNA hair and cortisol samples from subjects accordingly, and entered tracking data in a database. |

Euijin Jung, PhD, MSW
Dr. Euijin Jung completed her Ph.D. in Social Work at the School of Social Welfare, University of Kansas in 2021. Currently, she is at Boston College School of Social Work Research Program on Children and Adversity as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Jung is examining how parental involvement in financial education affect young adults' financial capability and well-being. Also, she is interested in how financial self-efficacy plays a role in fostering the financial capability of young adults. In addition, she is interested in measurement of latent constructs using Item Response Theory Technique. |

Mavis Smith
Mavis Smith, LCSW, is a second-generation Caribbean American. She earned her master's degree in social work at New York University, which equipped her with the knowledge and skills to provide effective clinical support. Currently, she works as a kidney transplant social worker, psychotherapist, and Ph.D. student. She is pursuing a Ph.D. in Social Work at Yeshiva University, focusing on Diabetes Mellitus in the African American community. Her interests include chronic illness, racial disparities in healthcare, and mental health.

Rivka Biggs
Rivka (Rikki) is a Masters of Social Work student at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
She has previous experience in managing a transitionary care facility and clinical experience in individual counseling. |
