Fall 2024: Mother Cabrini Health Foundation - grant awarded $ 100,000
A new grant from Mother Cabrini Health Foundation will support new research in our lab's research on the impact of online engagement among older adults. This project addresses competing theories about how information and communication technologies (ICT) can reduce loneliness and enhance cognitive abilities in older adults. Using computational modeling approach, we aim to clarify how different types of online engagement - such as tailored programs for older adults - affect their long-term mental health and well-being.
Spring 2024: Center for Rural Pennsylvania - grant awarded $ 17,190
Kutztown University & YU collaborative research project, entitled "A comparative Analysis of Job Satisfaction and an Intent to Leave among Rural and Urban Caseworkers in Pennsylvania's Child Welfare Agencies" were awarded for the Center for Rural Pennsylvania.
