Fall 2024: Mother Cabrini Health Foundation - grant awarded $ 100,000
A new grant from Mother Cabrini Health Foundation will support new research in our lab's research on the impact of online engagement among older adults. This project addresses competing theories about how information and communication technologies (ICT) can reduce loneliness and enhance cognitive abilities in older adults. Using computational modeling approach, we aim to clarify how different types of online engagement - such as tailored programs for older adults - affect their long-term mental health and well-being.
